The shadowed hide;; His hide is covered with buttermilk buckskin, except for the few white splotches and places.

The misted optics;; They switch with his mood. An emerald green for envy, a ruby red for anger, a turquoise blue for peace and calm, an amethyst purple for love and friendliness and respect, and last but not least a diamond clear for sadness. Most often stays between a ruby and turquoise.

To tell me apart;; A white splotch on the right side of his under belly and half of a white white face. He has two white stockings on his left limbs and two black stockings on his right side.

My choice;; those of the night

A few more words;;
Zephyr is not the usual evil, blood thirsty horse, nor is he the heart felt, loving, character of some modern day fairy tale. Zephyr is a very reclusive horse, he is very much into being alone and left that way. He doesn't often speak to any equines, a very few words type of horse. Sort of anti-social if you will, he isn't scared of equines, but he doesn't delight in having their company. He isn't overly bold or voice his thoughts or opinions, but he has his moments when his words are voiced. Unlike his sister, Zephyr easily shows his emotions, not through words or body movements, but through his eyes. They do not change at will, only when he is feeling some particular emotion.

Zephyr isn't unreasonable, but once he makes a decision he sticks with it and doesn't allow someone else to change his mind. He doesn't like to be controlled, he is a very dominant horse, he owns his own mind and admires most horses who are like him in that aspect. He isn't a pacifist, but he doesn't often indulge in having fights with others. It is in this way that he is often referred to as a horse with no one alliance. He is both dark and neutral, but he claims neither one.

The past binds me;;
Unknown to both Keenan and Maeve, Sheriden had twins. She disappeared with him after Maeve was born. Zephyr is Maeve's fraternal twin, he looks nothing like her, but is just a few inches shorter then her in height, but much stronger then her in muscles. He grew up in seclusion from other horses, this would be the reason for his anti-socialness. Nothing amazing happened throughout his life, he grew up with only Sheriden until she died and then he was left on his own. He traveled for the rest of his life, avoiding as many horses as possible and sticking to the shadows to learn what ever it was he needed or wanted to.

One thing, could you pick either neutral or dark? I mean, he can be a darker neutral or a lighter dark but he has to be one or the other; not both.
